— Overview
The Lattice CrosslinkNx LIFCL-40-8MG121I, LIFCL-40-9MG289I, LIFCL-40-8BG256I and LIFCL-40-7MG121A (FPGA) are field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) designed for embedded vision processing and edge AI applications, They are based on 28 nm FD-SOI (Fully Depleted Silicon-on-Insulator) technology and are optimised for low-power, compact and high-reliability scenarios. These devices are well-suited for a wide range of applications, including embedded vision. Applications include sensor and display bridging, sensor aggregation, sensor replication and edge AI inference.

Features
1. Low power consumption and high reliability: Thanks to FD-SOI technology, the CrossLink-NX consumes up to 75% less power than comparable products. This technology also significantly enhances resistance to soft errors, reducing the soft error rate by up to 100 times and improving system reliability in harsh environments.
2. High-Performance Interfaces: Features built-in high-speed hardware interfaces, including a hard-core MIPI D-PHY with a data rate of up to 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps PCIe, and 1.5 Gbps programmable I/O. Supports multiple standards such as LVDS and subLVDS, facilitating direct connection to peripherals such as cameras and displays.
3. Rapid Configuration: Supports instantaneous I/O configuration (as fast as 3 milliseconds) and full device configuration (as fast as 8 milliseconds), facilitating rapid system boot-up and response times.
4. Compact Packaging: Offers a range of package sizes from 4 mm × 4 mm to 17 mm × 17 mm to meet the requirements of compact system designs.
