Mouser has launched the VEGALED KRTTB CRLML1.33 full-colour RGB LED from ams OSRAM, designed for smart and machine vision applications

Mouser Electronics is now stocking the new VEGALED KRTTB CRLML1.33 full-colour RGB LED from ams OSRAM. The VEGALED KRTTB CRLML1.33 is an ultra-compact LED designed specifically for micro-displays in smart glasses, AR headsets, micro-projectors and machine vision applications.

The ams OSRAM VEGALED KRTTB CRLML1.33 LED features four individually addressable chips, which is a key prerequisite for LCoS imagers; furthermore, the product boasts an extremely small chip pitch and a compact package design (2.7 x 3.05 mm²). The VEGALED KRTTB CRLML1.33 is optimised for high energy efficiency, extending battery life and minimising heat generation, thereby enabling slimmer and lighter designs. It delivers excellent colour mixing and uniform display performance without the need for additional active cooling.

The VEGALED KRTTB CRLML1.33 also features dominant wavelengths of 460 nm, 525 nm and 615 nm, with a red (615 nm) brightness of 23 lumens, green (525nm) at 70 lumens, and blue luminous flux at 175mW, ensuring precise colour balance and exceptional efficiency for head-mounted displays, smart glasses, projection equipment and machine vision devices. The design incorporates two green chips, enabling the system to accurately render natural skin tones and rich textures, bringing virtual objects to life as the digital and real worlds gradually merge.
